You’ve Optimized Everything... Except Your Obedience
Okay, let’s set the scene.
You’ve upgraded the copy.
Redesigned the landing page.
Split-tested the buttons.
Automated the emails.
Watched six hours of funnel teardown videos from a guy named Brad in Bali.
And your conversion rate?
Still sitting somewhere between "meh" and "maybe next month."
Lovely, hear me out:
Maybe the problem isn’t your funnel.
Maybe it’s your focus.
And more importantly—maybe God isn’t asking you to work harder.
Maybe He’s asking you to listen better.
When You’re Doing All the Right Things... And Still Feel Off
This is for the high-achiever, launch-weary, spreadsheet-wielding woman of God who secretly wonders…
“Is this even working anymore?”
If your business feels:
- Heavy (but not in a "I just need systems" way)
- Loud (like you’re constantly shouting just to stay seen)
- Foggy (you’ve forgotten why you started in the first place)
...then we need to pause. Not pivot. Just pause.
Because the truth is:
You might be trying to optimize what God never told you to offer in the first place.
Three Signs You’re Funneling Your Focus Into the Wrong Place
1. You Can’t Remember the Last Time You Felt Peace About a Launch
Yes, launches are intense. But they shouldn’t leave you spiritually dehydrated.
If every launch feels like a warzone and recovery takes longer than the campaign itself?
That’s not strategy—it’s a sign.
2. You’re Obsessed With Metrics, But Numb to the Mission
You refresh your analytics more than your prayer life.
Been there.
When dopamine becomes your KPI and every unfollow feels like failure, it’s time to recalibrate.
3. You Know Your Offer Isn’t Wrong—But It’s NotRight-Now
This one’s spicy, I know.
Sometimes we have great offers—brilliant, even—but they’re out of season.
You keep trying to force the fruit.
But God’s saying, "Let it rest. I’m doing something else in you."
So What Do You Do When the Funnel’s Working... But You’re Not?
First, give yourself a giant exhale.
This isn’t about burning your business to the ground.
It’s about rebuilding from peace—not panic.
Here’s what to try:
Step 1 – Return to the Assignment
Ask:
"What did God actually ask me to build?"
Not your coach. Not your mastermind. Not Instagram.
What did He ask of you?
Because sometimes we start with Him… but end up building for applause instead of impact.
Lovely, your funnel is only as powerful as the clarity behind it.
Step 2 – Audit the Noise
Go through every funnel, offer, platform, and system. One by one.
And ask: "Is this helping me serve well and live well?"
If it’s not, flag it.
Sometimes what we call "strategy" is just distraction in disguise.
Step 3 – Fast From Feedback. Feast on Stillness.
What if you took 3 days away from:
- Metrics
- Marketing gurus
- Complicated funnels
- Client requests
- And everyone else’s opinion
And instead, spent those days with God, a notebook, and your actual why?
You might be surprised how quickly the fog clears when the noise dies down.
God Doesn’t Need Another Funnel. He Needs Your Yes.
If He called you to business, He’ll guide you through it.
But it won’t always look like 12-week launches and webinar series and evergreen tripwires.
Sometimes, it’ll look like:
- Hosting a quiet, small workshop that changes one person’s life
- Saying no to that “easy money” collab that makes your stomach turn
- Creating a new offer that makes no “business sense” but feels wildly obedient
Let’s not miss the miraculous in pursuit of the scalable.
Final Thoughts – Your Funnel Isn’t Broken. It’s Just Not the Point.
Let’s be real.
Funnels are great. They’re powerful. They allow us to serve at scale and steward what we’ve built.
But they are not the source of your impact.
Obedience is.
Peace is.
Focus is.
And when you get back in alignment with your actual assignment?
The conversions, the clients, and the clarity tend to follow.
So if you’re feeling stuck right now, don’t assume it’s time for another strategy session.
It might be time for a listening session instead.
